Built as a spec house, California is a Buff & Hensman design in need of rescuing due to the ravages of a former owner. The renovation, which will be completed by the Summer of 2012, includes opening up many of the uncharacteristically dark spaces to new exterior rooms, a general update of the kitchen and bathrooms, and the addition of solar panels.
