Located halfway up the hill on the east side of Silverlake, Tattuplex is an all-steel custom pre-fab atop a cast-in-place concrete foundation - a duplex consisting of a 1,100 sf one-bedroom unit below and a 600 sf studio with a wrap-around deck above. Designed in Sketchup by Marbletecture then translated to Revit and digitally fabricated by Ecosteel, this kit-of-parts equilateral duplex was completed March, 2013.

Offset House is a 3,300 sf renovation in Mar Vista completed in 2007 that shifts the public spaces upstairs to take advantage of the view and the three bedrooms downstairs, each with a direct connection to its own outdoor space.

On a wing and a hinge, the Winge is a 3,600 sf home near the Santa Monica airport comleted in 2008. Conceived as two wings opening up to courtyards on two levels, the public rooms and the master suite were placed upstairs to take in the view, with an office, laundry, gym and additional bedrooms downstairs.

White Marble is a 2500 sf home with attached 1250 sf studio/garage on an acre of land in Northeast Los Angeles. A series of rooms built around a courtyard, it also extends to outdoor rooms with views in each direction – north to the San Gabriel Mountains, east to Orange County, south to downtown L.A., and west to the Hollywood Hills.

Built as a spec house, California is a Buff & Hensman design in need of rescuing due to the ravages of a former owner. The renovation includes opening up many of the uncharacteristically dark spaces to new exterior rooms, a general update of the kitchen and bathrooms, and the addition of solar panels.
